Crossing Balkan Borders With No Additional Fee

Many of you dear clients are asking us every season if you can cross borders between different countries in the Balkans with no additional fees. The answer at Balkan Campers is simple – yes!

Either you rent a campervan from us in Slovenia, Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia or further south in Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia or in Montenegro, you can cross borders between all the listed countries with no additional fee.

Which documents do you need to cross the borders between Balkan countries with a campervan?

To cross the borders between the countries in The Balkans with our campervans, you need next documents:

-          Green card (campervan insurance paper for also non-EU countries) is already included in every campervan.

-          vehicle registration certificate, which is included in every campervan.

-          Signed contract for campervan rental (you will sign the rental contract provided by one of our team member at the pick up location)

-          Your personal documents like passport and driving license

P.S. We have some limitations about certain vehicles in our fleet about where to travel.

We have one campervan in Montenegro called Oliva, which is only allowed to drive inside of Montenegro.

We have two campervans located in Kosovo, with which you can’t enter to Bosnia and Herzegovina. These are Rugova and Hona.
