Family Road Trip Slovenia: Love, Flip-Flops and Mokoš

For many years it was our dream to make a roadtrip with an oldtimer bus. Traveling to Slovenia and Croatia was also high on our travelling list. So when we found Mokoš on the internet, we knew our dream could come true!

With a 4 and a 5 year old in our luggage, we went for the adventure.

Quite excited we arrived in the airport and a few minutes later we saw Mokoš for the first time. That made us 4 smile and immediately we would like to drive and go for ‘the Van-Life’.

In the beginning we had to learn how to slow down (in every sense of it) and also how to get up the hill 😊. But when we knew how to handle Mokoš, she really became our girl and we loved traveling with her! We called her ‘Mokke’, that’s how they say ‘hot girl’ in Antwerp - Belgium.

With our favorite music on the radio, we went through Slovenia (Lesce - Šobec), Italy (Lago di Fusine), Slovenia again (Bohinj, Vipava), Croatia (Rovinj) and back to Slovenia (Piran, Ljubljana, Trzič).

On this trip we were stunned about the beauty of nature in this area of Europe. The hills, the lakes and the sea… It’s was the perfect combination for our family. We had so much fun.
